For many years in Europe, human work and jobs are confronted with important changes, evolutions and often upheavals. It concerns their public image and sometimes shifts the emphasis of the centre of gravity for some sector-based activities.
It’s the case for fitness jobs. Considered for a long time through stereotypes introducing limits based on aesthetic aspects, linked to well-off customers and for leisure activities, these jobs are today in an important large-scale development process. They are confronted with new needs, new demands and “de facto” with new users coming from work life. They are at the same time juniors, seniors and active people. This new waiting or social demand mainly appears from the labour duration lengthening and new forms of work and above all their effects upon the health and the way of life for European people.
In a context of change about work life and work time and the effects upon health and the way of life for European people, the main objectives for partnership are:
To carry out an inventory and a comparative case study of the role played by fitness professions in relation to the work and health of all-age employees of the partnership ;
- To experiment, transfer and integrate the best practices from cooperation in the professional experience of each country, the practices must have been considered as relevant and efficient by the different kinds of learners (juniors, seniors, working ones and the consulted entrepreneurs.
The mobility grants will be focused on professional practices fertilization about topics, educational methods, modules, contents and training curriculum, tools…
The different exchanges and cooperative works will be easier by using of a collaborative platform and a Website will have been set. It will be considered as a reference centre for the innovation transfer dealing with fitness professions in Europe.
